Italian Hot Beef Sandwiches

This is the go-to meal for nights when the family has late practices or you are just tired of cooking.

Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 lb chuck roast
  • 2 envelopes Italian dressing mix
  • 1 16 oz pepperocini pepper rings
  • 2 cup water
  • hoagie buns
  • sliced cheese of choice (I use swiss or provolone)

Instructions
 

  • Set Crock Pot to low, Spray with pan spray or use a bag.
  • Place roast in Crock Pot.
  • Mix water and Italian dressing and pour on top.
  • Cover and cook on low 7-10 hours.
  • Shred meat with two forks. Remove large bits of fat.
  • Add drained peppers. Mix well and allow to reheat a few minutes.
  • Toast buns if desired.
  • Add meat to bun and top with sliced cheese. I use a slotted spoon for this process,
  • I serve this with a small bowl of the the juice for dipping.
