Menu and Shopping List for August 21-25

meridithbarney

This week the weather is supposed to be cooler and we might actually be able to eat dinner outside, which means our Sunday meal will be more than likely cooked on the grill.

Once school starts, our rule about firing up the grill or the smoker is that we have to do two meals. This way, at least one meal this week will be a bonus that I don’t have to think about.

Sunday- Kyle’s Thick Cut Grilled Chops, grilled baby potatoes, corn on the cob, watermelon (unless they are expensive)

Monday- Grilled pork chop salad- Slice the leftover pork chops and add them to a large salad. Alternative option- BBQ sandwiches- slice thinly or chop, heat with BBQ sauce. Serve with chips, baked beans, and leftover watermelon. (Or nachos, which are always my favorite).

Tuesday- Taco Pizza

Wednesday- Chicken Manicotti with salad

Thursday- Grilled hamburger steak with grilled vegetables
